Access to justice is one of the constitutionally recognized human and fundamental rights. Delivery of justice should be impartial and non-discriminatory. Legal aid programs are a central component of strategies to enhance access to justice. Access to justice is to endow justice within reasonable time period.

To translate these principles into action, JLF pursues strategies to leverage and better allocate justice resources, and works to: Advance and research on new methods, policy, and practice changes in legal aid. Research on innovative strategies to close the gap between the need for, and the availability of, quality legal assistance.
